Hi! I am Samira Ali, (S1308062733) a student from Villa College who is doing BETESL (Bachelor of Education Teaching English as a Second Language) , my interest in kids led me to chose teaching as a profession. In 2007 I did an Advanced Certificate of Primary teaching and between 2007 - 2013 I worked as a Primary teacher in Tha.Atoll Education Center. My interest in Language teaching was first sparkled during that period as I got an opportunity to work with some great Language teachers there.
In the second year of my study, In Psychology component I was asked to chose any one Human development theory and create a blog as a part of my assignment. . Among all the theories I found Cognitive Development theory fascinating as it mostly discussed about how human being learn and acquire knowledge of the world around us.
I am really thankful to my Psychology lecturer Ms Aminath Zubair for giving this opportunity to explore my knowledge in the filed of Psychology and also become familiar with Information Communication Technology.
